Red Star Poker review
Red Star Poker was launched a few years ago, with the obvious goal of taking advantage of the Russian Poker boom. Primarily aimed at the Russian market, Red Star Poker features quite a unique structure: it offers players more freerolls than any other site out there, but money won on freerolls isn’t exactly dough ripe for the taking. In order to curb freeroll abuse, Red Star Poker has made it its policy to treat freeroll money as bonuses. After winning, players will get the money transferred to their real money accounts and they will be able to take the money to the tables to wager it, but they’ll be required to collect a certain number of poker points before they’re allowed to cash out.
Because of the abundance of freerolls, Red Star Poker attracts many beginners. For a good poker player who’s used to playing at real money tables, making money there shouldn’t be more than a cinch.
The sign-up bonus offered by Red Star Poker is pretty generous too. New players get a 110% match on their first deposits, up to a maximum of $600. The bonus is automatic: players don’t need to use a bonus code, neither do they have to claim the bonus manually.
Bonus redemption is done through real money play. In order to release their bonuses players need to generate 16.6 poker points for every bonus dollar. The bonus is transferred in $10 batches. Players have 90 days to unlock their Red Star Poker bonuses.
